La Giudecca is the largest residential island in the Venice Lagoon, just across the way from Piazza San Marco. It is known to be private, quiet and away from the bustling tourists on the main islands. We selected this island for its position and because we want to bring participants closer to the authentic culture of Venice. Click here for more information on Giudecca Island. La Giudecca is very nearby the popular sights, yet exclusive, private, and off-the-beaten-track!

Imagine waking up each morning with a refreshing absence of speeding cars and roaring scooters that infest most Italian cities. Join her citizens as you make your way on foot or by boat through an ancient maze of narrow streets and winding canals to the seminar. You will see what most visitors overlook, that which lies hidden in the romantic back streets, canals and residential quarters of the city.

In 2008, enjoy accredited CE seminars in Venice featuring internationally respected authors! You will have the opportunity to meet these luminaries and international colleagues within the context of authentic regional Italian culture in a relaxed and informal setting.

The specific conference venue is "The Venice Cube" located on the residential Giudecca Island, in the Venice Lagoon with views of Piazza San Marco, Maria della Salute Basilica and the entire south side of Dusodoro (this photo is a view from the conference room). The Venice Cube is a recently renovated palazzo that was built in the 14th century by a Milanese nobleman. The restoration is beautiful with state of the art electronics and telecommunications throughout the building as well as the conference room. The building serves as a business incubator and as a select meeting venue. We are thrilled to be able to provide this venue for your seminar.

In addition to the meeting space and all of the support that goes with producing the seminar, participants will be served coffee mid-session each day. Excursions are planned to some of the more private islands and destinations in the greater Venice area. These excursions will be managed by our coordinator in Venice, Maria Giust, General Manager of Just! Venice, provided usually by private boat with English speaking guide and paid onsite.
